Green Salsa- Salsa Verde

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 7 whole tomatillos
  • 6 medium jalapenos
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 6 stalks cilantro
  • 1 medium onion, quartered

Recipe

  • 1 in medium saucepan add tomatillos,jalapenos( tops cut off),1 onion and water.
  • 2 bring to boil. reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. cool.
  • 3 puree. using pulse setting on food processor add garlic, cilantro and onion.
  • 4 pulse till blended yet leaving some pieces, for crunch.
