Drunk Beans" Frijoles Borrachos"

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 la preferida pinto beans (don't drain juice)
  • 8 hot dogs (cut in circles)
  • 2 whole tomatoes (diced)
  • cilantro (half bunch, cut leaf part only)
  • onion (half, diced)
  • 6 jalapenos (cut, seeded and diced)
  • bacon (optional, cut in to 1/2-inch or 1' strips)
  • 1 beer, i made both recipes with and without beer and both came out great (optional also)

Recipe

  • 1 first cut and dice everything.
  • 2 cut bacon and cook in a pan on medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring a few times.
  • 3 fry hotdogs in oil on low heat
  • 4 throw tomatoes in hot dogs and simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
  • 5 in a large pot empty cans of beans and put on medium-high heat.
  • 6 add the onion, cilantro, jalapenos, hotdogs, bacon, add your beer or not.
  • 7 let cook for about 20 minutes stirring the pot every couple of minutes.
  • 8 serve in bowls.
  • 9 enjoy!
