My Salsa

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sweet yellow onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves, roughly chopped

Recipe

  • 1 open the tomatoes and drain them.
  • 2 put all other ingredients into food processor and pulse until a coarse chop is achieved.
  • 3 add tomatoes and pulse until the desired texture is reached.
  • 4 put into a sealable container and chill in the refrigerator for several hours.
