Lisa's Salsa

Ingredients

  • 6 lbs tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 2 green peppers, diced
  • 4 large jalapenos, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons pickling salt
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 12 ounces tomato paste

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients into a large kettle. bring to a boil, boil ten minutes.
  • 2 pour into seven hot sterilized quart jars, add rings and seals.
  • 3 process in boiling water bath for 15 minutes.
