Mango Chutney

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 cups mangoes, chopped
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine it all in a pot.
  • 2 cover and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 reduce heat and simmer, uncovered 30 minutes or until mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.
  • 4 serve with meat on sandwich.
  • 5 keeps in fridge a week or two.
