Jeff's Salsa

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • 1 serrano pepper
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1 dried red chili pepper
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/3 cup cilantro
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Recipe

  • 1 in a food processer, pulse the peppers, onion and garlic to a coarse chop.
  • 2 add cilantro and pulse to desired size.
  • 3 add tomatoes with all remaining ingredients and pulse to around a fine diced texture.
  • 4 let refrigerate for atleast 24 hours before serving.
