Jalapeno-sesame Seed Salsa

Ingredients
- 2 jalapenos, seeded and chopped (seeding is optional)
- 2 bunches fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons water (to help blend-add more if needed)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds (brown or )
Recipe
- 1 place all ingredients *except* for the sesame seeds in blender or food processor. blend using the pulse setting until the mixture is smooth and to the consistency of pesto (if you want a "chunkier" texture-go for it).
- 2 place in container, cover and chill.
- 3 best prepared several hours in advance. serve at room temperature.
- 4 before serving, stir the sesame seeds into the salsa.
- 5 yield is usually a scant 2 cups.
