Grilled Or Broiled Asian Flank Steak

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs flank steaks
- 1/3 cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
- 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled, minced
- 1 tablespoon jalapeno, seeded, minced
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
Recipe
- 1 trim fat from steak.
- 2 combine steak and remaining ingredients in a large zip-loc bag. seal bag and marinate in refrigerator for 8-12 hours.
- 3 spray grill or broiler with non-stick coating.
- 4 remove steak from bag, and discard marinade.
- 5 place steak on grill rack or broiler pan. cook 8 minutes on each side, or until desired degree of doneness.
