Grilled Jalapeno Peppers

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 24 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 12 ounces bulk lamb sausage
  • 12 slices bacon, strips halved

Recipe

  • 1 wash peppers and remove stems.
  • 2 cut a slit along one side of each pepper.
  • 3 remove seeds; rinse and dry peppers.
  • 4 in a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
  • 5 stuff peppers with sausage and wrap with bacon; secure with a toothpick.
  • 6 grill peppers, uncovered, over medium heat for about 15 minutes or until tender and bacon is crisp, turning frequently.
