Chili Cheddar Sage Corn Bread

Ingredients

- 1 cup oil 
 
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 
 
- 6 eggs 
 
- 1 (14 ounce) can creamed corn 
 
- 1/3 cup minced pickled jalapeno 
 
- 1/2 cup milk 
 
- 4 cups yellow cornmeal 
 
- 2 cups flour 
 
- 1 cup sugar 
 
- 1 tablespoon baking powder 
 
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage 
 
- 1 teaspoon salt 
 
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350. 
 
- 2 grease a very large, heavy baking pan. 
 
- 3 combine the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. combine the last 6 ingredients in another bowl. 
 
- 4 stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined (don’t overmix). 
 
- 5 spread patter in pan.
