Barbecue Deer Jerky

Total Time: 28 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs deer, sliced thick
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup sweet soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced pickled jalapeno pepper
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 rub salt into deer meat.
  • 2 mix together all ingredients.
  • 3 marinate meat overnight in the fridge.
  • 4 dehydrate for 8 hours - don't overcook.
  • 5 yummy!
