Ay, Caramba!

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 ounce cointreau liqueur
  • 2 ounces sour mix
  • 2 slices fresh jalapenos (one red, one green)
  • 10 cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 lime

Recipe

  • 1 run the lime half over the rim of a glass and salt the rim.
  • 2 squeeze the lime into a cocktail shaker, add the jalapeno slices and cilantro leaves. muddle lightly.
  • 3 note: i didn't muddle at all - i thought it would be too spicy. the way i made it had a kick but didn't burn your mouth.
  • 4 add remaining ingredients.
  • 5 add ice and shake for 20 seconds until ice crystals form.
  • 6 pour into glass and serve.
