Hot Salsa

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 -4 large tomatoes (nice and meaty)
  • 1/2 large red onion (or more if desired)
  • 1 jalapeno pepper (seeds included)
  • 1/2 wax pepper
  • 1 lime
  • 10 -16 cilantro leaves (to taste)
  • sea salt (to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 run tomatoes through processor, set aside.
  • 2 sprinkle coarse sea salt on processed tomatoes.
  • 3 add all peppers, cilantro and onion into processor and finely chop.
  • 4 mix all together and squeeze that fresh lime juice into salsa and top with more fresh sea salt. if too hot add additional tomato.
  • 5 *if you cut this recipe in half and hand chop all ingredients it makes an amazing pico de gallo*.
