Hot Pepper-apple Preserves

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • 5 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 large tart apples, chopped
  • 15 jalapeno peppers, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 pour sugar into a heavy 5-quart pot; stir in water until well blended.
  • 2 bring mixture to a boil over high heat, stirring often.
  • 3 reduce heat to medium and cook, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes.
